Berati Open Air 2024

The paragliding spectacle again in Berat ! "Berati Open Air 2024" for the third consecutive year with a participation of 85 athletes from different countries of the world will take place on March 15-17. The Municipality of Berat in cooperation with the Albanian Air Sports Federation and the Aeronautical Federation of Kosovo for three days have prepared a sports program that will be finalized on Sunday, March 17 with the Grand Prize "Golden Olive Cup", in a ceremony for the winners at 6:30 p.m. on the city pedestrian street.

Firefly Fest

The captivating illumination, melodious music, and happy peoples were all part of the experience. The event that took place on July 7 and 8 in Berat, including the outdoor film screening, the exhibition, and other activities, united all the people at Porta e Pashai. The Xixlonja Fest not only highlighted Berat but also celebrated its rich heritage, breathtaking scenery, and opportunities for outdoor pursuits.

Cherry Festival

The "Cherry Festival" event has been organised for two years in a row. This year took place in the village of Drobonik on May 27, organized by the Directorate of Tourism and Activities. This event, which marked the second edition, was made possible through the support of the Albanian Development Fund and the Directorate of Tourism and Activities of Berat Municipality. The main objective of the festival was to showcase local products and highlight the tourism potential of the area. The event saw the participation of local artisans and producers, as well as performances by children from the local kindergarten and school. Notable guests included the Folkloric Group of Kozare and the renowned folk singer Denisa Gjezo.
